New partnership for applied artificial intelligence
Combining AI expertise and global reach: appliedAI initiative partners with Fast Lane
Munich, 07 November 2023 - Europe's largest initiative for the application of trustworthy AI, appliedAI, is launching a partnership with global IT training provider Fast Lane to make AI knowledge available worldwide. In addition to regular workshops in the virtual classroom, the initiative also offers customized AI Learner Journeys for companies.
The need for training in the field of AI is constantly increasing. Furthermore, the EU AI Act demonstrates the need to address the use of AI in European companies. The partnership between appliedAI and Fast Lane makes AI knowledge available to even more companies and thus strengthens the initiative's goal of making the European economy a shaper in the AI era and thus maintaining Europe's competitiveness.
Fast Lane, the global award-winning specialist for technology and business training, provides scalable training on digital topics in 90 countries with more than 4,000 experts. This now also includes the appliedAI courses. As part of the partnership, the initiative offers customized training measures, from employee training on AI basics to preparation for the upcoming EU AI Act.
Dr Andreas Liebl, Managing Director and Co-Founder of the appliedAI initiative, emphasises the need to make AI knowledge available to as many interested parties as possible: As appliedAI, our main objective is to lead the European economy into the AI era. An essential prerequisite for this is an understanding of AI. The partnership with Fast Lane offers clear added value: we can now offer our training courses globally and therefore spread our knowledge more quickly.
appliedAI is a pioneer for trustworthy AI in Europe. The new partnership enables us to respond to the increasing demand for AI training and to expand our previous AI initiatives as well as our existing range of AI training from vendors such as Microsoft, AWS and Google globally. Together with appliedAI, we look forward to preparing companies to responsibly utilise the diverse possibilities of artificial intelligence and to building the corresponding AI skills among their employees,
explains Torsten Poels, CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Fast Lane Group.
The new AI training programs can be booked at www.flane.de/courses/appliedai.
In future, the appliedAI initiative will also integrate Fast Lane's training programs into its own learning paths and systematically qualify Fast Lane instructors for the training programs.
